Systems Analyst

Excellent opportunity in Bethesda, MD for a Systems Analyst.  This position will provide expert systems analysis and design skills and will support all SDLC phases of the project - primarily design thru implementation.  You will interact and support both Information Technology personnel and Business Users on a daily basis. 

Duties:

Support all SDLC phases of the OPS2 project

Lead/assist with documentation & review of business Use Cases

Lead/assist with development of Test Cases

Assist with vendor selection process

Lead/assist with planning for data conversion and other system implementation activities.

Facilitate communication and/or coordinate tasks with other groups in the IT dept.

Required skills:

10+ yrs. experience working in an IT department as a Business/Systems Analyst supporting large scale COTS systems implementations.

Experience developing business process models

Experience following a structured project methodology

Broad knowledge of overall design, function, and characteristics of the N-Tier system architecture, database design, and applications development.

Experience working with Infrastructure teams for hardware planning purposes

Experience planning for large data conversion efforts

Experience in Healthcare industry, and experience with implementation of large scale Practice Management and/or Electronic Medical Record Systems is desired.
