Technical Skills Required: Candidate understands and has worked with Command and Control systems. Required knowledge and experience includes: fundamentals of Communications Systems, network systems, systems administration, system engineering, software development and contractor logistics life cycles. Experience problem solving and troubleshooting complex, distributed DoD systems. Communication System, UHF SATCOM, and Software support/installation, and use of RF systems such as link 11 or 16 for S-TADIL-J operations experience is desirable.

Qualified candidates must have a BS in engineering coupled with 2 years of experience. Direct hands-on experience with military communications systems to include: Military tactical and satellite radios (AN/PRC-117F, AN/PSC-5, AN/ARC-210). Familiar with COMSEC keying material , key loading devices such as AN/CYZ-10 DTD and AN/PYQ-10 SKL. Must possess a solid degree of resident knowledge and understanding of Satellite and Communications system architecture, RF signal propagation, and radio system range and voice quality testing. Successful candidate must be a team builder, and possess outstanding written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills. Candidate must be a self-starting program solver with the ability to work with military and civilian personnel in both a lab and live field test environment with limited supervision.
